Everyone knows that campus security at pretty much every school is kind of a joke. Well, this story does not help that stereotype any...
Henrietta was in her classroom waiting for class to begin. She noticed that there was a campus rent-a-cop standing outside the room, clearly looking for someone. As each classmate entered the room the same question was asked "who is she looking for?" No one had any clue. Finally, when the teacher entered the room, the security officer asked the teacher to speak with her in the hall. When the teacher left the room, the rent-a-cop pulled out a picture of a student and asked if she knew this particular student. The teacher replied that she did indeed know the student and went to the room and found Henrietta. When Henrietta went into the hallway, the rent-a-cop told her that she needed to move her car. Henrietta asked "why," to which the rent-a-cop said "it needs to be moved out of the way for snow removal."
The rent-a-cop did not have Henrietta's name. But she did have a printed 8x11, black and white 4-year old photo and a copy of her schedule. This 'man-hunt' was created instead of placing a 2 minute phone call to tell a student that her car needed to be moved. Great use of resources, campus security!
Wow! That is ridiculous! lol...I love how you are not using names in the posts...and I can always count on them for a laugh! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI've seen this happen a few times before, it's pretty unnecessary use of resources.
ReplyDeleteI have too! But this is still to funny! :)
