A couple daily odd compliments that I though were pretty funny!!
If anyone ever tells you to change, just be like, "I don't think so." And then stop whatever you are doing and strut away. Because you don't need to change, and that would be a cool way to show it.
You're adorable when you do something embarrassing. It's like, "Aww, did somebody screw up?" Whereas, for me, it's like, "Wow. I didn't even know that was possible." So touche to you, my friend.
You're like a hug that lasts longer than it should, but it doesn't enter that awkward stage, where you're like, "Okay, that's enough now." It's more like, "I did not expect this much love."

Awkward Fall...
My friend told this story that I thought that I would share with you!
The topic of conversation was her families hip replacements, so she shared the story of how she caused her grandmothers hip to be replaced. When she was about 7, she was biking with her grandmother at Acadia National Park. As they were riding along the path, she cut in front of her grandmother causing her to fall. Because of this fall, she had to have her hip replaced.
When my roommate asked her if her grandmother laughs about it now, her reply was "my grandmother is no longer with us, but my family still laughs about it!"
What a story to tell! :)

A Few Awkward Compliments...
Some of my favorite daily odd compliments as of today!
You're the kind of friend that I can pass a dance move to, because I know you'll keep it going, and that's important.
If your face was on a shirt, I would buy that shirt, wear it around town, and tell people, "This is the face of a winner." And everyone would be like, "Oh man, I wish I had that shirt."
Sometimes a thought pops in my head, and I'm like, "Well, this shouldn't be said out loud." But then I say it anyway, because I'm an idiot, and you just give me a look like, "I'm going to pretend that didn't happen." And I appreciate that.
I think it's safe to assume that you're the funniest person I know. And that's not because I don't know a lot of people. Because I totally do.
I am so glad you get my sense of humor. Because I think I'm funny, but you make it official.

Library of Awkward
So this is what happened to me last week.
I was in the library visiting my roommate who was camped out there studying in one of the booths at the back of the library. This kid had left his stuff on a table behind us and came back to work on homework. He said "psst...you watch your friend study." His English is not the best, since he is a foreign exchange student from Vietnam. My roommate and I both chuckled, he then proceeded to continue a conversation with us asking for our names. Coincidentally, all of our names begin with an A, so he gave us the nickname Triple A. Kinda awkward, right? Well just wait...it gets better.
So I get up to leave to go to class and he stops me and shows me his YouTube channel. It is full of weird videos that he has made. He learned that I am a NESComer and said he wants help with his videos. I told him that I am not a video student and he told me that that didn't matter. He gave me his number and would not let me leave until I texted him because he knew that I wouldn't have if I just left, and he would have been right. He has a way of pressuring you into doing things. (He is the same guy that pressured my other roommate into saying yes to go to coffee with him.) So I texted him, which turned out to be a big mistake.
He sent me a text later that day asking if I was done with class and coming back to the library to hang out and chit-chat (his words). I told him no and that I was busy. He called me a couple nights later. Boy was I surprised. I could hardly understand him, so I was asking him to repeat himself pretty much the entire time. During this phone call he asked if I was at home or on campus. I lied and told him that I went home home for the weekend. He proceeded to ask when I would be back. I told him late Sunday night, hoping that he would leave me alone. The next sentence out of his mouth was "when you come back you can take a nap and then meet me to watch the meteor shower." I then told him that I was too busy and put an end to that little brain fart of his.
He then sent me a text a few days later asking if I wanted to hang out. I then replied that I would appreciate it if he would stop contacting me because my boyfriend is uncomfortable with it. Totally just wanting him to leave me alone. His reply was a simple okay.
I definitely learned my lesson from this awkward encounter!!
